RULE (of St. Benedict)

After almost 1500 years of monastic tradition, the Rule of St. Benedict is still observed and followed by many monasteries and convents around the world. There are about 30,000 Benedictine monks and sisters in the world, in addition to other religious orders such as the Trappists, Camaldoli and Cistercian that observe the Rule of Saint Benedict.
